1. General
1. These terms exclusively govern all sales made by us unless we expressly agree in writing to any alterations.
2. A contract becomes valid between ourselves and a Buyer only after we accept their order, regardless of whether it resulted from a quotation or not.
3. Our intention is to diligently and professionally fulfill every order, with no intent to harm or cause damage to any customer. However, we also aim to make profits to sustain our commitment to providing top-tier service.
In the rare event that we cannot fulfill your order for any reason, we will promptly refund your payment via the same method used for the original transaction. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your card provider or payment facilitator. We will notify you once the refund is initiated from our end. Please note that our regular office hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and we will respond during these hours if we need to cancel your order.
2. Prices
1. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, and the price in effect at the time of goods dispatch will be considered the contract price.
2. Unless otherwise agreed, the buyer is responsible for delivery costs for orders delivered by means other than a common carrier, and for orders exceeding £30 in value when delivered by a common carrier.
3. We may set a minimum invoice and line value, which may be adjusted at our discretion.
3. Management of Personal Data
You can access and edit your personal data online. You can opt to receive promotional material via email by subscribing to our newsletter, with the option to opt out at any time.
Information We Collect
Our store collects data to operate effectively and enhance your experience with our services. Data may be provided directly by you when creating a personal account or collected by recording your interactions with our services, often through technologies like cookies. We may also utilize services from other companies to determine your location based on your IP address to customize specific services to your area. The data we collect varies based on the services and features you use.
4. Payment
1. Unless we have granted credit terms at our discretion, goods must be paid for at the time of ordering.
2. When credit terms are granted, payment is due to us no later than the thirtieth day of the month following the invoice date.
3. In case of overdue payments, a 3% interest will be payable on the overdue sum.
4. Credit terms may be altered or withdrawn by us at any time without notice.
5. If we determine that a Buyer's creditworthiness is compromised, or due to late payments, we may suspend our obligations under the contract or treat the contract as repudiated.
6. Goods will be invoiced when ready for dispatch.
7. For goods delivered in multiple instalments, each instalment is treated as a separate contract with payment to be made accordingly. A defect in one delivery instalment does not entitle the Buyer to withhold payment for any other instalment.
8. The Buyer cannot withhold payment under the contract due to any claims the Buyer may have under Term 7 or otherwise.
5. Delivery
1. Delivery dates provided are approximations. While we make every effort to meet them, we do not accept liability for any financial or other loss or damage, direct or indirect, due to delivery delays. Such delays do not entitle the Buyer to refuse acceptance or payment for the goods upon delivery.
2. We will arrange delivery by means at our discretion within the UK, unless the Buyer specifies otherwise.
3. The risk associated with the goods passes to the Buyer when they are fully off-loaded at the destination if we are the carrier, and upon leaving our premises if not.
6. Returns
1. A2Z Fasteners is dedicated to providing high-quality products and service. If, for any reason, you decide to return correctly supplied goods, you must return them in their original condition and at your expense. Upon return, we will issue a full credit for the value of the goods only. In the rare instance of products being found faulty, defective, or incorrectly supplied, A2Z Fasteners offers a "no charge" return.
7. Confidentiality
1. All drawings, designs, specifications, and related materials provided in connection with a quotation or order remain our property and are confidential. They should not be disclosed to any third party without our written permission.
2. We acknowledge the importance of preserving the confidentiality of customer's drawings, designs, specifications, and similar materials during the production process.
3. We reserve the right to maintain the confidentiality of any sub-contractor's identity when deemed necessary.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delays or non-performance of our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our direct and reasonable control, such as but not limited to war, riot, accidents, fires, floods, industrial disputes, and labor shortages.
9. Law
These Terms will be construed and have effect in accordance with English Law, and both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
